
Nick Wang is an electronic musician and engineer based in San Francisco, CA. He holds an MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media from Mills College and primarily performs composed and improvised music using modular synthesizers and home-built electronics.
Drawing from his professional experience in the electronics and broadcast industries, Nick has provided provided technical services, such as designing and building custom circuitry, developing embedded software applications, and recording and mixing audio, to a number of composers and artists.
Nick is also a community radio disc jockey and producer. From 2008 to 2010, he was the Friday host of the Late Risers' Club, one of the longest-running punk rock radio programs in North America, on WMBR in Cambridge, MA. In 2020, he returned to the airwaves on KXSF in San Francisco as the host and producer of The Extra Ounce.
