long live the new flesh (2011) is an improvised audio-visual work for inductive pickup, crt television monitor, and a scene from david cronenberg's 1983 film videodrome. in the piece, optoelectronic feedback is used to simultaneously modulate audio and video signals originating from electromagnetic waves emitted by a television set.
tv party (2011) is an audio-visual work for installation that explores rhythmic modulations produced by optoelectronic feedback in the context of a single repeated gesture - the physical movement of an inductive pickup over a crt television monitor along a fixed path trajectory. another view of the installation with different lighting is available on my vimeo page.
